We can’t think of anybody who will not love this lovely, and fully restored and rustic traditional Catalan country home situated in the district of Riudarenes.
The house Casa Salerich is the perfect place to disconnect and still have the best possibility to connect as the house is situated very privately, which is quite amazing, taking into consideration the proximity to Girona (15 km.), the beach (20 km.) and Barcelona (80 km.).
After a short drive following the gravel road through a small forest, you arrive to the beautiful gate where the paved driveway with cypresses on each side, takes you up to the house, with the big pool area to one side and the lawn to the other side.
The outdoor facilities are splendid and the garden area is very big. Here you will find a fenced and secured swimming pool area, with plenty of sun beds and a covered chill-out area, so you can enjoy a snack or a glass of wine at the pool area. The swimming pool is ideal for children, as it has roman steps, and it is also fenced, so the youngest cannot enter unattended.
The owners have really made an effort to keep you entertained. Below the pool, area, they have established minigolf with 8 courses. There are also swings for the youngest children.
On the other side of the house, next to the second outdoor terrace, you will find a covered area with dart, table football and table tennis, and also a play house with mini-kitchen and sand pit, so the children can entertain themselves, while the parents relax by the dinner table. It is the perfect place for outside dining, covered or uncovered as you prefer, as there is door connecting directly to the kitchen, and to the other side, a big covered barbecue. There is also a toilet, so you will not have to enter the house.
The kitchen is well-equipped with hotplates, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and inside, it is connected to a a dining area for inside dining. In connection, there is the sitting room with TV and a second dining room. There is also a second toilet.
The ground floor has 2 bedrooms. One is very large and equipped with two small double beds, so it can be used as twin room, but also has the possibility to sleep four persons (children/family). The two bedrooms share one bathroom.
On the first floor, there is a small sitting area and 4 modern bedrooms, all with bathrooms. One bedroom has double bed and an integrated bathroom with a half wall, very beautifully solved. The second bedroom is very large, with two small double beds, so it sleeps from 2+2 persons (children) and a bathroom ensuite.
The third bedroom can be arranged as double room or twin room, and has a very big bathroom ensuite. The fourth bedroom is a triple room with a double bed and a single bed and bathroom ensuite.
The house is equipped with WIFI-Internet and has also a washing machine.
An ideal place to relax, get back to nature and still be within easy reach of all the great sights in Catalonia, Spain.
