If you want to stay all by yourself in a lovely country house in the mountains, this is the perfect house. Cal Frexadeñas offers a unique nature experience in absolutely unique surroundings with grazing cows, refreshing mountain air and a view that belongs to one of the best we have so far encountered. This is a real opportunity for relaxation; let the stress of the everyday float away, and bid welcome to a quiet, relaxing life. And despite the fact that the house seems completely isolated from the outside world, there’s barely 10 minutes to a charming village with restaurants and other, as well as 10 additional minutes from here to the larger town of Olot.
The remarkable view can for instance be enjoyed from the pool area, which is a level above the rest of the garden. Here, you will find the 32 m2 large pool, of course, always able to tempt one with a refreshing dip in the water. Besides this, there is two terraces, hereby one of them covered, where you can enjoy the dinner in the light of the excellent Catalan evening sun. There is the option to cook the dinner at home in the well-equipped kitchen that for instance has hobs, stove, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher etc. There is also a table tennis table at one of the terraces and a swing set for the smaller ones in the holiday group.
Upon entering the nice country house, you will notice the fine, traditional Catalan style, of which the decor is characterized by. The house is a smart combination of both the traditional Catalan aspect and the modern part. In this way, you will get the authentic feel without giving up on the fancy, modern facilities such as WiFi, spa, flat screen TV etc. Besides the 4 double bedrooms and the 5-person-bedroom for children, there is a well-equipped kitchen as well as a spacious family room with a long dining table and a comfortable sofa area with flat screen TV, DVD player, etc. The fifth double room is located in the annex right next to the house which has a kitchen and a double bed - almost as if it was an apartment itself.
There is a cosy village very close to the house, about 10 minutes away, with the possibility of dinner at 3 restaurants. Additionally, the wonderful medieval town of Rupit is situated about 8 km from the house. Here, there are several beautiful sights and unique activities you can experience. The town is for instance known to be historically interesting with for example unique streets made of natural stone, but is also known for the surrounding, outstanding nature, which offers, among other things, fantastic hiking trails and a popular, beautiful waterfall.
