By the famous and iconic mountain of Pedraforca lies a beautiful Catalan holiday home by the name of Cal Pejent. Newly renovated in 2015, the charming house is especially notable for its remarkable location and nature, as Pedraforca and its exceptional shape rises up behind the house, allowing for an incredible view from the house. The location comes with a lot of other benefits as well: for instance, there is a lot of stunning hiking routes starting from the nearby village of Saldés.
The house is surrounded by scenic nature and green grass areas and the garden is as big as it gets. You can use the garden for football for instance, or just whatever you like. Furthermore, there is a delicate pool with a glass cover that can be removed during summer, which always provides an irreplaceable option for both fun and relaxation, especially for the smaller ones in the group. But if that shouldn’t be enough, the neighbor has some very cute dogs and cats and even a couple of pigs that are walking around, that undoubtedly will be a very attractive activity for the children. Moreover, the house has a covered terrace, where you can enjoy your meals or just drink a glass of wine as you watch the children play in the garden.
The house consists of two floors, whereas the ground floor has 1 bedroom and the 1st floor has 3. All of the bedrooms are double rooms with double beds, except for the children’s room upstairs, which has a single bed and a bunk bed. All of the rooms have a beautiful view to the scenic landscape.
Futhermore, there is a well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor, along with a bathroom and a panorama-view living room with a flat screen television as well as view to Pedraforca. Moving up to the upper floor, you will find, aside from the bedrooms, a bathroom with a bath tub as well as a cozy terrace with a great view and a sitting arrangement, where you can relax in the evening as you watch the lovely Catalan sunset. The house is decorated in a traditional Catalan style which lets you explore the Catalan culture even more.
Other nearby sights and activities include the nearby, cozy village of Saldés as well as a climbing course, a small railroad and a mine train, kayaks, a walk with a shepherd and his sheep, etc.
