Apartment Cort 4P - Pool and natural surroundings - and the beach only 4,5 km. away!
The location of Mas Margarita is amazing, as the holiday homes are surrounded by the peacefully Catalan hills and fields but still very close to the Costa Brava beach. When you stay in the rental home, you feel far away from everything. Despite this, there is only 4,5 kilometers to the white sand beaches and the blue sea, and 3 km to the cosy, authentic town ofCalonge.
Normally the holiday homes in this distance from the great beaches are full of tourists and fake surroundings. You rarely find such a peaceful authentic holiday home as Mas Margarita, which offers traditional buildings, scenic environment and views
Apartment La Cort is the oldest part of the large, three-part house, and provides a unique, authentic feeling. It is well preserved in the Catalan style, but has introduced all the necessary modern facilities, so you're not going to miss anything.
At the entrance to La Cort is a private terrace with a seating arrangement consisting of wooden chairs and table. Just inside the door is the cosy living room with sofa and satellite TV.
The kitchen is very well equipped. Here is a washing machine, oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, toaster and dining table, useful if the weather is too bad for dining on the terrace - although this is very unlikely, sinceCatalonia has unusually high number of sunny days per year.
La Cort has two bedrooms - the first is a cosy double room with two single beds, and the other is also beautifully decorated with a nice big double bed. The bedrooms share a bathroom, which also has a shower.
The Mas Margarita apartments offer a wide range of activities for people of all ages. All 4 apartments have access to the table tennis, the children’s bicycles and the toys. From the garden there are also Roman steps into the large shared pool (12x6 m), which therefore is perfect for children. In addition to this there is also a football field and a small playground in the shade.
The beautiful surroundings around the apartments are characterized by the olive trees, the beautiful mountains and the Catalan forests.
The houses are located in the corner of a nature park, where there for example are two GR-trails. Otherwise, you have the opportunity to take a 15-20 minute scenic walk downhill through the forest to the town of Calonge. The walk back home will probably feel a bit longer. Therefore, it is best to drive for shopping. In addition, there are several wineries in the area. If you wish to taste the exclusive Catalan wines at the famous wine tastings you must book some time before your arrival. Otherwise there are also other, smaller wineries, which offer tours. Many of these tours include the possibility to pick grapes (late August or September). It is also possible to book an extremely talented chef for lunch / dinner in advance. The price depends on the meal.
There is Wifi internet throughout the site and in all of the houses except La Cabanya, where the Wifi signal can be weak.
