Casa de Soleña is a great and modern holiday house for 10 (+2) guests. The house is situated on a hilltop with a glorious view of the hilly Catalan landscape and has a great garden. The very nice town Banyoles is 4.5. Km. away. In addition to the weekly market, cafes and restaurants there are buses directly to Barcelona from the town, so you do not have to worry about parking and driving in Barcelona if you are going there doing your holiday.
The house is on a quiet road and is shielded by a wall and a closed gate, so 100% privacy is guaranteed. The garden is planted with palm trees and ancient, beautiful olive trees, creating a welcoming exotic Mediterranean atmosphere. The Catalan mountains are piling up in the background and frame the entire place in a unique atmosphere.
Casa de Soleña has a great covered patio where you can enjoy the shadow if it gets too hot in the sun. In addition to good patio furniture there is a table tennis and a great BBQ area. It's not hard to imagine that the summer days and evenings can be lived nicely right here.
The swimming pool is fenced, which can be nice if you are traveling with small children, and at the end of the pool is a small playground with swings, slide and a basketball goal, where you can practice the perfection of your shot.
The holiday home has 5 bedrooms, one of which is for four guests and thus perfect for a family with two small children, or for a group of small children. There are also 2 double rooms and 2 tripple rooms. The large common area is one big open environment with a cozy living room, a long Spanish table and a smaller kitchen. There are also three bathrooms in the house.
The village Banyoles has a huge and beautiful lake where the local social life being enjoyed. You can swim in the lake and rent either boats or bikes if you want to experience the lake in different ways. There are restaurants and pedestrian path along the lake. The town has a weekly market (Wednesdays from 7 to 14.30), where you can buy the best local products. The town has a lot of good authentic restaurants and many cafes and shops. Cal de Banyoles is located in the heart of the beautiful region of Girona, which gives you the opportunity to explore the many beautiful sights in the region of half or full day excursion. It is 35 km. to the beaches of the Costa Brava coast.
