Casa Relo is a really nice holiday home, restoredin the typical style of the region.The house is situated in green surroundings just below the Pyrenees; hence one can see the Pyrenees rise from the garden.The house is also peaceful and creates the perfect setting for a holiday with the best possibilities to “recharge the batteries”.In autumn 2010 a lovely pool area was built - located so that the whole countryside is open why cooling off in the swimming pool – quite a unique view!
The house itself is really nicely decorated and this is a house where everything works as it should! In the ground floor is the lounge and kitchen and a very beautiful and traditional dining room (although you will probably be dining on the terrace most of the time). The kitchen has all modern amenities and here the style is beautiful and authentic. On the ground floor is also a double bedroom and a bathroom. On the first floor are three double bedrooms and one single room and another bathroom. Two of the 4 rooms on 1 floor have its own small terrace overlooking the beautiful Catalan countryside.
The house has a front yard and a backyard. At the entrance to the front garden is a covered terrace with BBQ, outdoor kitchen and table tennis and this is probably where you will enjoy the long warm summer nights. Within walking distance (about 2 km.) from the house is the tiny village of Mont Major. Here is a wonderful deli with excellent sausages and hams, a Tabac, a small local bar, a restaurant and a small mushroom museum (in the region is a big volume of mushrooms collected in the autumn). Definitely a great house for a large family! Tree km. from the house is also an excellent restaurant with very reasonable prices - try here their ”menu del dia" which is served daily between 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Apartments in Barcelona or just a visit
The advantage of the geography of Catalonia is that Barcelona is situated in the middle. You can reach Barcelona in 1-1½ hours from most of our holiday homes, so it is easy to visit the city during your stay. In addition, many choose to combine a stay in the country side with an apartment in Barcelona before or after the vacation in one of our Spanish villas.
