Casa de Cardona is a traditionel Catalan farmhouse from the 18nd Century. The house is exceptionally nice situated, just three km. from the beautiful town of Cardona, which has a classic village center with some shops and restaurants, a beautiful Cathedral and not least, a gigantic castle that stands out on top of the town and definitely is worth a visit. The city has a market every Sunday year round.
The holiday home Casa de Cardona has 250m and accommodate 16 +4 guests. It has 6 bedrooms - 2 double rooms and 4 triple rooms. There are also 6 bathrooms in Casa De Cardona, 4 of which are en suite. On the 1st floor are two common rooms, one of which is a large dining room that is beautifully decorated with the classic Spanish refectory table, as a focal point. Would you as holiday-makers prefer to eat out on the covered terrace, you will find a BBQ and a small outdoor kitchen with sink.
The lounge area has several couches. There is a kitchen adjacent to the dining room and adjacent to the lounge area (identical but mirror image). The kitchen has all modern amenities such as dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster and fridge and freezer. The holiday home also has a laundry machine.
From the garden there is access to a gameroom with table tennis and a soccer field will be ready by summer 2012. Casa de Cardona is is situated in the very heart of Catalonia, hence there is only a one hour drive to Barcelona, Costa Brava, Andorra and the French border, creating the possibility of a wealth of good outings.

During your stay in Catalonia, it is obvious to make a trip to the metropolis Barcelona. It takes from most houses only 1-1½ hours to drive in to the Catalan capitol know for Gaudi, Miró, The Ramblas, the Gothic neighbourhood, F.C. Barcelona, the beach and many other things. The previous summers, many of our guests have chosen to rent a holiday apartment in Barcelona before our after their stay in the beautiful Catalan countryside.
